I'm Charli Fels, founder of ONE FOCUS.
For 34 years, I worked in education — from early childhood classrooms through primary and secondary education to university teaching.
Later, my work moved into brand strategy, visual communication and publishing.
On paper, they might look like very different chapters.
Looking back, I see the same thread running through all of them.
I've always been interested in helping people make sense of things; taking something that feels complex, overwhelming or unclear and creating a way through it.
Space to think.
A clearer idea.
A meaningful next step.
ONE FOCUS grew from that same instinct.
Today, instead of designing learning experiences, brands or books, I'm designing stationery that gives people space to think for themselves.
The medium has changed.
The intention hasn't.
WHY PAPER
SOMETIMES WE NEED TO THINK ON PAPER
So much of life now happens on a screen.
We read, respond, plan, work and move from one thing to the next — often without giving ourselves much space to hear our own thoughts.
Paper asks something different of us.
It gives an idea somewhere to land.
A decision somewhere to become visible.
A thought somewhere to unfold.
There is something powerful about taking what's in your head and putting it somewhere you can see it.
Sometimes clarity begins there.
With a blank page, a pen and a little room to think.
